The International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA) opens its doors again in Montreal and Quebec City, from March 14 to 26 in theatres and March 24 to April 2 online.

Since 1982, FIFA has been dedicated to bringing art through films, documentaries, and interactive works to all generations. Over the years, it has become the largest art film festival in the world, as well as one of the most important cultural events in Quebec.

For its 41st edition, FIFA is also organizing "a Symposium of art film festivals and art films. A unique opportunity to meet the directors of participating festivals, develop one's network and open up to the world. FIFA proposes to bring together directors, distributors, cultural producers, and representatives of international art film festivals to exchange experiences, challenges and perspectives. This activity aims to strengthen collaboration between festivals and to promote filmmaking on the international scene. Participants will have the opportunity to share ideas, make meaningful connections and develop plans to advance their common goals.

This meeting is a unique opportunity to strengthen the international arts film festival community and ensure a bright future for productions." This year the director and founder of BAFF - Brussels Art Film Festival, Sarah Pialeprat will be invited. It will be held for the first time in Montreal, March 15-17, 2023.
